Words with capitalized initials have specific meanings defined below. These definitions apply whether they appear in singular or plural form.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

• Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party.

• Country refers to: United Kingdom

• Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our") refers to The Wee Village.

• Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, smartphone, or tablet.

• Service refers to the play sessions and Website provided by The Wee Village.

• Terms and Conditions (also referred to as "Terms") mean these terms governing Your relationship with the Company.

• Website refers to The Wee Village, accessible at https://www.theweevillage.co.uk.

• You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the parent or guardian booking and attending with a child.

Acknowledgment

These Terms govern your use of the Service and your participation in our play sessions.

By accessing or using the Website or attending any play session, You accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If You do not agree, You should not book or attend a session.

You must be at least 18 years old to book or attend sessions with a child. You are responsible for the supervision, safety, and conduct of any children you bring.

Bookings and Payments

Booking Play Sessions

All play sessions must be booked in advance via Our Website or other approved booking platforms. Walk-ins are welcome but not guaranteed entry.

By booking, You agree to abide by these Terms and any additional rules posted at the venue.

Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking. We accept major debit/credit cards via secure payment providers.

Cancellations and Refunds

• You may reschedule your booking to a different available day if at least 48hours notice is given prior to your scheduled session (Does not apply to private hire or parties).

• Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the session may not be possible to accommodate and will be considered non-refundable.

• We do not offer refunds for cancellations, except where required by law.

• If The Wee Village cancels a session (e.g. due to illness, maintenance, or other unforeseen issues), You will be offered a full refund or the option to rebook for another date.

• Cancellations for PLAY SESSIONS must be made at least 48 hours before your booked session for a full refund or credit.

• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session are non-refundable, except where required by law.

• If the Company cancels a session (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances), You will be offered a full refund or the option to rebook.

• Cancellations for PARTIES or PRIVATE BOOKINGS must be made at least 1 month prior to the booked date. If after this date we will do our best to accomodate a new booking date for you if available. 

Late Arrivals and No-Shows

If you arrive late, we cannot guarantee extended play time. No-shows are non-refundable. If you book an incorrect date we will help you rescedule.

Use of the Play Space

Health and Safety

• Children must be supervised at all times.

• Shoes must be removed in the play area; socks must be worn.

• No food or drink is allowed in the play zone.

• Do not attend if you or your child are unwell.

• It is the responsibility of any Parents or Guardians drinking hot drinks provided by or brought to The Wee Village to take care and caution around all kids and with others around you.

• You must comply with all posted rules and staff instructions for safety.

Liability Waiver

By attending a play session, You acknowledge and accept that play involves physical activity, and participation is at your and your child’s own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Wee Village is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse of equipment or failure to supervise children appropriately.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Website and materials provided at sessions, including logos, images, and designs, are the property of The Wee Village or its licensors.

These materials must not be copied or used for commercial purposes without permission.

Links to Other Websites

Our Website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

Termination of Access

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee who violates these Terms or behaves inappropriately during sessions, without refund.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage.

Our liability in any circumstance is limited to the cost of your booking.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any other liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.

"AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer

We provide our Website and booking system “as is” and “as available” without warranty. We do not guarantee the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If You are a consumer in the EU, You may benefit from protections in your home country.

Dispute Resolution

Please contact us first to try to resolve any concerns. If we cannot reach a resolution, disputes will be handled by the courts of Northern Ireland unless otherwise required by consumer law.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is invalid, the rest will remain in effect.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Website or attendance at sessions means You accept the current Terms.

We will notify you of material changes where required.
