Rules of The Wee Village

Welcome to The Wee Village! We’re so happy you’re here and we hope you have a wonderful, joyful time with us. Our goal is for everyone, big and small to enjoy a safe, happy experience filled with fun and imagination.

Here are a few friendly reminders for all Parents, Guardians, and Carers:

  • At The Wee Village, we believe everyone is never too old to “Let Our Imagination Grow.” We encourage both adults and children to dive into the fun together! Please keep an eye on your little explorers and stay close as you enjoy your wee trip with us.

  • To keep our village tidy and comfy for all, we ask that children remove their shoes on arrival and enter wearing socks or tights. Adults, we invite you to do the same, but if you’d prefer to keep your shoes on, we have shoe covers available for you. We also provide boxes at reception to keep your belongings safe.

  • Feeling peckish? You’ll find delicious homemade food and drinks in our Reception Area. We kindly ask that all food and drinks be enjoyed there. Inside The Wee Village, only wooden play food and drinks are welcome, after all, nothing beats a pretend cup of tea and cake made by your little one! It is the responsibility of any Parents or Guardians drinking hot drinks provided by or brought to The Wee Village to take care and caution around all kids and with others around you.

  • Our role-playing areas are full of wonderful props, many of them small and special. For safety, children under 3 should be supervised closely by their grown-ups at all times. If you have any questions or need assistance, please chat with Victoria.

  • Above all, we want everyone to have fun and feel happy! Let’s all be kind, respectful, and remember that Sharing is Caring. If you spot any hazards or anything that needs fixing, please tell a staff member right away so we can keep the village safe and fun for all.

  • We encourage you to keep your valuables with you, but we also provide hooks and boxes in the Reception area for coats and children’s bags.

  • We know sometimes extra adults come along too, so please make sure everyone is familiar with these rules. Copies are available at Reception if you’d like one.

  • This is your time to capture special moments! Feel free to take photos of your family during play for personal memories.

  • As we are limited to space we would really appreciate that Prams and Push chairs are not brought into The Wee Village. Outside parking is right by the entrance and we will gladly assist you if you need help.

  • The Wee Village doors open 5 minutes before each session starts, and there’s plenty of onsite parking right outside if you arrive early.

Thank you so much for reading, and most of all, we hope you enjoy The Wee Village as much as we do!
